Steps to Complete

1Open Microsoft Word → new blank document. Set font to Times New Roman 12pt, margins to 1 inch.
2Type the document title: Digital Skills Reference Guide for Healthcare Professionals. Apply Heading 1 style from the Home tab Styles gallery.
3Create the 5 main sections each with Heading 1 style: (1) Keyboard & Ergonomics, (2) File Management Best Practices, (3) Digital Ethics & HIPAA Essentials, (4) APA Formatting Quick Reference, (5) Credible Research Sources.
4Under each section, write 3–5 bullet points summarizing key concepts from that week. Bold key terms using Ctrl+B.
5Go to Insert → Header: type the document title. Go to Insert → Footer: type "CI1000 | Ultimate Medical Academy | [Your Name]". Add auto page numbers via Insert → Page Number.
6Place cursor at the very beginning of the document (before the title). Go to References → Table of Contents → Automatic Table 1.
7Press Ctrl+End to go to end of document. Press Ctrl+Enter for a new page. Center the heading References (bold). Press Enter, change to Left alignment, type at least one APA 7th edition citation with a hanging indent.
8File → Save As → Documents/CI1000/Week5 → filename: Lastname_Firstname_CI1000_W5_Capstone → Save as .docx.
9File → Save As → change type to PDF → Save (same filename, .pdf extension).
10Submit BOTH files (.docx and .pdf) to the Week 5 Capstone Assignment dropbox in D2L.
