Your Scenario

Maria Chen, Office Manager writes:

At Sunnydale Clinic, every team member maintains an organized, professional digital workspace. Your assignment this week is to demonstrate that you can set up and use the core digital tools of a healthcare administrative professional.

“Before you start seeing patients and handling documents, we need to set up your digital workspace the right way. At Sunnydale, every staff member keeps files organized and named consistently — it protects patient privacy and saves everyone time.”

Task 1 22 pts

Create a folder structure on your computer following the naming conventions from Lesson 2. Your structure should include at minimum: a "CI1000" parent folder with "Week1," "Week2," ... "Week5" subfolders inside.

Task 2 22 pts

Open Microsoft Word and create a new document. Add a title "Week 1 Practice Document" formatted in bold, 16pt. Save the document as Lastname_Firstname_CI1000_W1.docx inside your Week1 folder.

Task 3 22 pts

Export the document as a PDF (File → Save As → PDF format). Submit BOTH the .docx and .pdf files.
